Setting up your Blackbaud ID and Logging into the College Prep "Community Portal" for first time users

General Information about Blackbaud IDs

• Every individual has their own "Community Portal" account, and it is best to log in with your credentials for full functionality. 
• Blackbaud IDs are unique email addresses. If parents share an email address for accessing the "Community Portal" they will not be able to have separate accounts. We will use the email addresses we have on record as each individual's Blackbaud ID.
• For observational learners, we have created a little video here that outlines the process.

Process

You will be presented with the registration form below when you click on the Accept Invitation button in the email above:


Fill in the details requested on the form above,i.e (create a new password, enter your first name and last name then click on “Sign-up” The system uses multi-factor authentication, it will send you a six-digit verification code to confirm your identity, before finally logging you in. This verification code is sent to your email address.



Once the verification code is accepted you will be presented with our regular "Community Portal"  login page. Remember to use your email address as your username and the new password you created in the step above. 
 

On the landing page, you should see  "You have: 1 Contract to Review"
